Housings that fit the bearing
A pillow block housing only works if the bore, base and mounting holes line up with the bearing insert and the machine frame. We control every step that affects that fit: the pattern, the casting, the machining and the coating.
Our six special purpose machines handle the critical operations in fixed set-ups, giving consistent bore size and alignment and housings that are interchangeable across batches. We also sell complete bearing units under our own HBT brand.

Do you sell complete pillow block bearings?
Yes. Complete pillow block bearing units are sold under our own HBT brand. Visit hbtbearing.com for the range. We also supply housings alone to bearing manufacturers and OEMs.
Which material are your housings made from?
Housings are typically cast in grey iron, with SG iron available where higher strength or impact resistance is needed. Tell us your duty and specification and we will recommend a grade.
Can you make housings to our own drawing?
Yes. Our pattern design team can develop patterns to your drawing, and our SPM and CNC lines can be set up for your dimensions.
Are housings supplied painted?
Housings can be supplied machined and powder coated from our automated coating plant, in a colour to your requirement.
